Love so amazing so divine
The following Vimeo clip is a powerful dramatisation of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. The dramatisation depicts the relationship a young girl has walking with Jesus. It begins close and exciting and is portrayed like a dance.
But soon the girl is distracted by the ways of the world, and culture begins to influence her thinking. Her relationship with Jesus becomes distant as she pursues other pleasures.
The drama considers her negative spiral decline through wrong relationships
Chasing money
Alcohol abuse
Self image
Self harm,
eventually leading to a sense of hopelessness, leaving the young girl feeling there is nothing left in life to live for....
However she remembers the closeness she once felt with Jesus and tries to get back to him. Watch the powerful hold sin has on her, no matter how hard she tries she just can't break free and return to Jesus. The power struggle of sins hold is powerfully portrayed, all dragging her back and keeping her in bondage.
Jesus steps in, confronting the evil and conquering sin to set the young girl free, as she prays in faith. This is powerful and moves me to tears every time.
Love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life my all.
